The John Barleycorn provides a calm and comfortable setting, perfect for remembering and celebrating the life of someone special.  We’re located less than 10 minutes from the Cam Valley Crematorium and there is ample onsite parking for your guests.

We understand that this can be a difficult time and are here to help with compassion & understanding, our team will be with you every step of the way to support and relieve you from the hassle and stress of arrangements.

Private events & celebrations

The pub is available on an exclusive use basis for special occasions including birthdays, anniversaries and receptions for up to 70 guests depending on set-up and your catering requirements.

We can provide entertainment from background music, a DJ or if you prefer your own choice of live band. Table magicians, casino nights and murder mystery events are popular choices, quotations available for these on request.
